Office Manager

Possible is looking to welcome an Office Manager to the team.

Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters you’ll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Although the office is in a mostly work-from-home configuration, it is critical to maintain normal office operations for the small number of staff who do come in, as well as the overall studio infrastructure that is relied upon daily by all remote staff.

In addition to being organized, analytical, strategic, and resourceful, you must possess strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions. High enthusiasm, creativity, and resourcefulness are crucial, as is a high level of professional integrity and confidentiality.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • - Oversight of the day-to-day operations of our Los Angeles, CA headquarters and related workplace programs
  • - Serve as the first point of contact for facilities issues and ensure prompt, best-in-class service is maintained whether issues are resolved in-house or by one of our vendors
  • - Maintain a clean, warm, and well-organized office space to foster a productive work environment and a welcoming experience for guests. This includes both interior and exterior spaces (parking lot + patio/garden).
  • - Help ensure work-adjacent needs of staff are met, including receiving and sorting mail/packages, stocking refreshments, and ordering meals when necessary.
  • - Answer office phones and track messages.
  • - Manage the opening and closing of the office, including making sure the patio and common areas (kitchen, conference rooms, etc.) are clean and presentable.
  • - Manage office utilities (water/power, etc.) and maintenance needs (air conditioning, roll-up gates, etc.)
  • - Keep office, kitchen, and bathroom supplies stocked and organized.
  • - Maintain budget for office needs, including tracking expenses and logging receipts in a timely manner.
  • - Coordinate and facilitate company events and functions in support of employee engagement
  • - Assist with managing satellite or temporary spaces, including the storage unit, the warehouse space, and any additionally rented work spaces.
  • - Own the relationship with building management and our landlords, ensuring all systems are functional and issues are dealt with efficiently
  • - Maintain standards for office compliance (OSHA, required posters, etc.), including COVID-19 compliance, as well as preventative maintenance and office upkeep
  • - Support the COVID office reopening process, adhering to all local conditions, and the ongoing application of COVID measures

 

 

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • - Extremely well-organized and detail-oriented
  • - Good at anticipating needs and meeting them proactively
  • - Has experience managing an office or company facilities
  • - Interested in the organizational rigor and care required in supporting a fast-paced creative studio and its staff
  • - Not looking to move laterally into the content production side of the company – we are looking for someone dedicated to the craft of office management.

Post Production Coordinator

Possible is looking to welcome a Post Production Coordinator to the team on a contract basis. We are looking for you to support the operational and creative excellence of many major projects and productions.

You’re not only an excellent communicator but also a creative thinker that can solve any project thrown your way. You’re ready to roll up your sleeves and dive right in, no matter the timeline, ask, or budget.

To be successful in this role, you’re likely ambitious, a multitasker and maybe even a professional plate spinner — you make it all look easy. No matter how big or small the project, you always bring your A-game. There is no typical day in the office — one minute you might be editing a new promo spot, the next you’re off to load up equipment for an upcoming client shoot and the day wraps up kicking off a project with the tech team.

If you love moving 100 miles an hour while keeping a pulse on everything that’s going on around you, you’ll thrive in this role! This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on some of the most exciting projects at Possible.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • - Manage organization of post-production workflow via Ftrack.
  • - Fluency with Ftrack is a huge plus, but not required. Experience with similar production management platforms like Shotgun, Filemaker, etc. is also beneficial. The tools can be learned – we’re looking for someone who can smartly implement those tools.
  • - Create and deploy efficient systems to track progress of assets, renders, shots, etc.
  • - Work with Producers and Artists to ensure streamlined flow of information, assets, and communication between departments.
  • - Work with Producers and Technical Leads to troubleshoot any technical issues.
  • - Keep Producers abreast of any emergent issues that may need their attention.
  • - Assist Producers in onboarding artists, communicating with vendor partners, updating schedules, prepping deliveries, etc.
  • - Assist Producers in monitoring project progress relative to project schedule, while keeping aware of upcoming deadlines.
  • - Help plan and implement adjustments to stay on schedule or improve workflow inefficiencies as needed.

 

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • - Is extremely well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • - Two plus years of experience in post-production or VFX.
  • - Is familiar with CG/animation workflows including previz, playblasting, multipass rendering, compositing, finishing, etc.
  • - Is proficient with video and post-production software such as the Adobe Suite (specifically Premiere, Media Encoder, and After Effects), and can communicate clearly about various aspects of the production process.
  • - Can complete multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • - Is experienced in creative problem-solving and proactive in preempting or mitigating issues.

Producer

Possible is looking to welcome a Producer to the team. We are looking for you to support the operational and creative excellence of many major projects and productions.

This opportunity is fit for someone with a track record of successfully managing various projects and personnel that come together in creating world-class live events.

To be successful in this role, you are likely someone who is a proactive problem solver that can take the initiative in order to meet deadlines while adhering to budget constraints. You will need to collaborate and communicate effectively across departments as well as with clients in order to execute on deliverables.

Job Responsibilities:

  • - Primarily support the Executive Producer - Production in leading projects in the live event space.
  • - Build and maintain budgets and production schedules that take into account multiple departments and partners on an international scale.
  • - Contribute to the strategic vision and have ownership of the final product's quality
  • - Bid and negotiate with vendors for all aspects of event production
  • - Determine the project risk on an ongoing basis and escalate issues as needed
  • - Manage and coordinate teams of both staff and vendor partners to achieve project goals on time and on budget.
  • - Provide clear communication of project statuses to internal teams and any third-party vendors.
  • - Interface with clients when needed or when Executive Producers are unavailable.
  • - Provide post event support

 

 

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • - Is extremely well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • - Has minimum five years of experience in live events and/or physical production.
  • - Strong understanding of live event content production
  • - Experience working in different international and cultural contexts is a plus.
  • - Is capable of translating abstract client needs into actionable and achievable plans.
  • - Is experienced in creative problem-solving and pivoting large-scale operations on short timelines.
  • - Is a nimble thinker and articulate speaker, capable of presenting ideas and advocating for them in a well-considered manner while remaining cool under extreme pressure.
  • - Is willing to travel domestically and internationally to event and job sites, with trips ranging in length from a couple of weeks to a couple of months.
